Guest VegasToon
Think the main thing today was not letting anymore leave. Still think we'll get a centre-back in on loan, and I think that's us pretty much sorted. Couldn't agree more. I don't mind giving Ranger, Vuckic, Kadar and Donaldson a run of games to see how good they really are.

TRon
cash moves for matt kilgallon, craig cathcart, williamson and jordan stewart all collapsed according to the chron. No big surprise really, failing to attract players in the transfer window is par for the course under Ashley, even when we are aiming for unknown players and sitting at the top of the table we aren't an attractive proposition. FFS, Jordan Stewart preferred to move to Sheffield Utd, that's how poor our negotiating position has become under Fatso.
NG32
cash moves for matt kilgallon, craig cathcart, williamson and jordan stewart all collapsed according to the chron. Guest Heneage
Bar Killgallon they'd have been useless if we got promoted. Get some loans in.
SUPERTOON
Was too gutted that we didn't sign anyone permanent. Think we would be better off with loans from the prem, of course we didn't do that either, but there is still some time to do that.

toontownman
I he is one of the most reliable CB's in the Championship why would he be available for loan? Would certainly take him, werent Rangers and Wigan sniffing round him in the summer?
TRon
Middlesbrough have brought in around £22m this summer from the sales of Stewart Downing, Robert Huth and Tuncay Sanli and more will be recouped if Afonso Alves completes his transfer to Al Saad before the Qatari transfer deadline later this month. To date, they have signed only Mark Yeates, Danny Coyne and Leroy Lita, although Lamb stated that others, either on free transfers or loans, will arrive. “It was frustrating that we weren't able to deliver on some of the manager's targets, mainly due to the reluctance of other clubs to release their prize assets,” he said “We were very close to doing a number of permanent deals but we simply ran out of time before the transfer window closed. Sounds familiar doesn't it? Amazing how clubs such as ours have all summer to recruit and then just run out of time to conclude the deals at the last minute. Guest
Losing Tuncay, Downing, Huth & Alves will hurt them a lot more than we've been damaged by our outgoings imo.
