Half a dozen reasons why he hasn't made it here, some down to us, him and bad luck , but he's finished IMO, can't even make any kind of impact against Morecambe, he's done, time to let him go.

It's incredibly sad but true. Probably the most promising youngster we have had since Krul.

Until Alan Pardew manages to coax a few half decent performances out of any NUFC XI, I'm not going to be writing off any of our youth prospects. The vast majority of players play like shit under this guy, so I'm not surprised that we'd see a mediocre performance with a team of youths and fringe types.

I agree. Would have liked to have seen him loaned out to a team like Watford or Brighton, but maybe his stock isn't high enough at the moment.

He played for Cardiff in the championship last season and did well there. Don't think he should be written off until he can get a few games under his belt. The main issue is his injury proneness which has limited his game time.

It was two seasons ago and he managed about 6 games before he had to come back injured.  I'm not sure much can be drawn from that.

Millers sign attacker Vuckic...

Rotherham United have completed the emergency loan signing of Haris Vuckic from Newcastle United, subject to Football League and Premier League clearance.

Vuckic, 21, becomes the second signing of the day for Steve Evans’ side and the second to have joined from Premier League Newcastle, following the capture of defender James Tavernier this morning.

“This is a fantastic signing and he is a player we look forward to working with,” Steve Evans told www.themillers.co.uk.

“He certainly adds a lot of quality to a very talented squad. We have signed three new players in a week; Nouha Dicko, James Tavernier and now Haris. I am again grateful to Alan Pardew and Newcastle United Football Club. The lad will train with us tomorrow and all being well will also be in contention to make his debut on Saturday.”

The Slovenian international has represented the Magpies on 17 occasions, netting once after beginning his career with Slovenian Prva League outfit NK Domzale and played a part in Cardiff City’s Championship campaign back in 2012 during a loan spell.

If clearance is received, Haris be eligible to make his debut for the Millers in the Sky Bet League One clash with Gillingham this Saturday, and will wear 28 for the Millers.
