Big Geordie
I'm happy enough with that, though I'd have Guthrie in for Nolan. Geremi should provide some decent service from wide (fingers crossed)
matta
please løvenkrands as a striker in a 4-4-
Belfast Boy
Hughton deserves some credit for leaving Butt out of the starting line up tbh. Leaving Guthrie out for Geremi is a s*** decision though. Surely it is Taylor who has been dropped for Geremi? Are we assuming it is 4-4-2 with Lovenkrands up front? Dave
Butt out is good. Barton/Nolan ahead of Guthrie is bad. I'm surprised at Geremi in front of Ryan Taylor too; he's been alright so far. Still should have enough to win, though I said the same before Blackpool.
Unlucky Luque
Will probably unleash Guthrie in the second half when the game slows down a bit.

Toon_Crazy
Actually quite pleased that Geremi is starting, wanted to see him start for a while now. It's a long season and we need to utuilise what is a small squad, so why not give an international a start
Nobody
surely hughton isnt daft enough to play loven on the wing btw?

Belfast Boy
Agreed, whilst it clearly points to them being shit, they are also due a good result.
Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
Well done Hughton for going 4-4-2 and playing Lovenkrands and Carroll...Not to mention dropping Butt. But Guthrie should play instead of Nolan

colinmk
Decent looking team, Guthrie deserves to be playing ahead of Noland and Barton as others have said though.
Ashley17
Radio Newcastle think it might be Lovenkrands on the left, Nolan up top with Carroll, which is less good. We'll see if that's right though.
