Zurab Khizanishvili signs on three-month loan

Be nice to just see some honesty instead of the utter PR crap we get peddled.

I'm sure someone like Ketsbaia signing for us at the time would have been a big thing in Georgia.

Seem to remember Simpson made similar rumblings, and while he's not a loan Lovenkrands made shouts of being extatic to be here.

Think Simpson said something about the history of the clerb* or something similar. And Lovenkrands is closer to his wife's family and Glasgow so of course he's happy to be here.

I'd have thought City with Kinkladze would have been bigger..

Had Citeh just finished 2nd two years in a row and qualified for the Champions League due to a goal from their very own Georgian?

Based on that I think Ketsbaia signing for us would have been really big news in Georgia.

I'm not talking about the club I'm talking about the quality of the player.

Yet I was quite clearly on about the opposite.

So you reckon old Zurab dreamt about playing for us then?

Berbatov did so I don't see why not.

Berbatov made those claims a long time before. But if you find a photo of Zurab posing with an old Newcastle shirt from the 90's/ early millenium, i'll totally agree.

Have a feeling he'll get frustrated staying on the bench, if Colo and Taylor don't get injured

I agree

then again, as Yorkie says, he has a bald patch in stark contrast with Colo's scintillatingly arousing locks - he cannot expect to play

Steven Taylor has played RB before has he not? It's possible they might put him out there for Simpson and have Zurab and Colo in the middle on the weekend. Most likely not, though.

I don't expect to see Zurab play until Colo goes away on international duty again, assuming that he would have to miss a game to make the trip to South America.
