Guest johnson293
FAO OLDER POSTERS - I know we were in 2nd Div in the main while Pedro played for Liverpool & Everton but I honestly cant recall what sort of reception he got if/when he played against us at SJP, can someone remind me. Cheers. Only played against us twice for Liverpool up here, in '87 and '88 before we went down. Can remember him being booed every time he got the ball in '87 (his first match back) but nothing worse than that. In '88 he was a substitute in that match, and again got a few boo's when he got the ball.

Wallace
Graham had a trial with Newcastle as a youngster. He has said before in interviews that Newcastle were the one club that he had wished he had managed. It is so frustrating as you hear a lot of football people say that Newcastle would be a fantastic club if it was run correctly and which makes you wonder why people running the club cannot seem to see the potential that is there. Guest Roger Kint
Graham had a trial with Newcastle as a youngster. I have a photo somewhere(hopefully) of him and my Grandad plus a few other Scottish lads who were on trial at the same time. needless to say that my Grandad got nowhere. OzzieMandias
Premier League football clubs have promised to tackle the problem of antisemitism in their grounds "head-on", following the launch of a hard-hitting film that will be shown before matches. Chelsea are planning to show the film, which features the likes of Frank Lampard and Ledley King, before this month's home match against Tottenham Hotspur, despite fears that it could spark outbreaks of the kind of chanting it seeks to stamp out. But Kick It Out, the organisation that has waged a long and largely successful battle against racism in football and the clubs involved, has resolved to open up the debate around the use of the term "yid". http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/apr/14/kick-it-out-spurs-y-word
