Wilshire has stress fracture in his right foot.  Can't see him at the Euros which is massive blow to Capello.

in addition to that injury? has been started training again?

Caused by training on Friday.  Probably rushed back too soon by Wenger.

Arsenal seem to get an abnormally high number of longterm injuries especially for a club that is supposed to excel in sports science.

They often rush back their star players, out of necessity.

Fábregas last season is a great example of what I say, got crooked soon after they rushed his return because they needed him so badly.

Off now to WHL to watch the NextGen (CL competition for u19's) QF between Spurs and Liverpool.  Spurs should have Souleymane Coulibaly and Milos Veljkovic amongst others, Liverpool Conor Coady and Raheem Sterling.  Should be a decent match.  The winners will face either Ajax (not likely) or Barca (probable).  It's on Liverpool TV at 6.30 if you want to watch something before Blackburn tonight.

Thats nice.

Derby, West Brom, Palace, Wolves, Hull, Bradford, Watford, Blackpool, Barnsley, Swindon Town.

The illustrious list of clubs with a points per game average lower than Sunderland's.

(Meaning Oldham, Reading, Stoke, Coventry, Sheff Wed, Wimbledon, Charlton Athletic, Bolton, Boro, Sheffield United, Ipswich, Norwich, QPR, Wigan all have a better points per game average)

Do agree with you, I was being sarcastic.  The need to rush players back is all down to Wenger's refusal to buy players with experience as squad players and believing that the current crop of youngsters as those when Fábregas was 16.  Yes, they have injuries, but that happens to all teams during the course of the season.  Still, Wenger won't change his stance and I for one am happy with that!!

On a change of subject, the Spurs kids beat the Liverpool counterparts 1-0 in the QF of the NextGen Series tonight.  We now meet the winners of Ajax v Barca in the semi-final.  Assuming Barca will win, I would guess our cup run will be at an end as our record against Barca in the past couple of years hasn't been good, 4-0 in Mexico and 2-1 in the Eurofoot.  Still, it will give Ceballos the chance to meet up with old friends...............
