SEMTEX
That team wouldn't even get 10 points man. Horrid set of players.

wormy
2 players regularly in our current defence making it, and our 37 year old goalkeeper that hasn't managed to start consistently for us for more than a year at a time says it all.

I'm curious Harper Naughton Willo A Ferdinand Simmo Routledge Nolan Gardner M Taylor Lambert Holt (Yes, Simmo's been picked at left back  ) Aye, that's awful To be frank, I blame the fact that England seem to give a cap to everything that moves nowadays. After your Williamson at LB comment I thought of Gibbs or Jenkinson, and they both have been capped already Trying to make a Spanish one... De Gea Montoya V.Ruiz Ballesteros Azpilicueta Arteta Isco Michu León Susaeta Aspas Not bad. Although several of them will get caps down the line (De Gea, Isco, Montoya...) leffe186
Cannot be bothered to work one out - can anyone come up with a better one? If not, then it's going to be hard to criticize Roy Hodgson for years.

johnnypd
Cannot be bothered to work one out - can anyone come up with a better one? If not, then it's going to be hard to criticize Roy Hodgson for years. to be fair there's a lot of English players with one or two caps due to more experimental squads which i'm not sure holds true for other, more settled, national teams. Though we're not the only ones - Argentina are even worse in terms of dishing out caps. Hodgson seems to be building for the future and wants to integrate youngsters like Sterling into the squad as quickly as possible. I'd have Britton, Lallana, Rose, Clyne, Forster, Sinclair in there anyway.
Hanshithispantz
The Spaniards casually having an uncapped Isco waiting in the wings is taking the piss a bit like.

johnnypd
The Spaniards casually having an uncapped Isco waiting in the wings is taking the piss a bit like. Aye, if he was English we'd be declaring him the greatest talent since Gazza, in Spain he's just one of many.
Village Idiot
To be frank we have like 1000000000000 promising midfielders, but are a bit short upfront. So another decade of 4-6-0 beckons.
Mole_Toonfan
Isn't Rodrigo from Benfica Spanish? even so he's no Villa but there's at least one forward who is promising But yeah it does seem like another decade of your never seeing the ball and attacking midfielders upfront lol. Dr Colossus
Adrian Lopez is alright and Morata from Real looks like he might be decent in a few years when he's inevitably at Getafe.
Village Idiot
Adrián is class on his day, but very inconsistent. Not too hot on Morata, he isn't that clinical and has little else to his game. We'll see how Deulofeu or Jesé end up developing, both are attacking mids but very direct. And there's also the inevitable small and pacy Andalusian winger that will pop up at some point. Village Idiot
He's been playing for the Cameroon youth teams so far. It's also still very early to know if he'll make it. He's scored 100000000000000000 goals for the youth teams, but he's struggling a bit with the grownups (he's just 17 though).
