Tooj
Oh fucking christ. Word that Vilanova has relapsed of his cancer. Do you think Pep would step in until the end of the season if it meant Tito was able to come back?
Fugazi
Has there been any actual confirmation of this from the club yet? Just saw that Pinto has tweeted this - "I don't know the news or the truthfulness of the comments and news that are being published on Tito."
Village Idiot
They say he's been contacted about it (rumor and all), but no word about response. To be honest, I don't think he would want to take the job over his longtime friend in this circumstances. To be frank, it 8 am in NYC. He's most probably sleeping or having breakfast. No, but if it were false pretty sure the club would have come out since it's all over the place.

Just saw that Pinto has tweeted this - "I don't know the news or the truthfulness of the comments and news that are being published on Tito." Hasn't been an actual statement from the club confirming the situation on his health. I guess in that sense it may not be accurate but pretty much everywhere is reporting the same story unfortunately, as opposed to a few Twitter-based rumours. I suppose Pinto is just trying to remain professional and not say anything definite until Barca themselves have released a statement later.

Village Idiot
Mundo Deportivo says that "club sources" deny any contact with Pep Guardiola or Luís Enrique, and that more will be cleared up in a club's official announcement this afternoon. To be frank there's a lot of confusion. Some media say that he's under the knife as we speak, some say that not and will even attend today's training to talk to the players... mattypnufc
Arsenals game on Boxing day postponed, gives them a rather unfair advantage Zero reasoning for this too. So fucking what if a tube is off. There's no direct trains to Manchester for our fucking game.
Fenham Mag
Arsenals game on Boxing day postponed, gives them a rather unfair advantage Indeed, very unfair. It's so stupid that a local derby has to be called off because of transport. Ridiculous in fact.

ujpest doza
It's really easy to get to Arsenal by overground train and bus. Do they run on boxing day though?
leffe186
Not seen the story yet, but if true that's kinda irritating. I mean, I could understand if they were playing you guys, but it's West Ham FFS. On the face of it it makes sense, but there have been regular tube problems on the Victoria line coinciding with our matches - usually maintenance - which can make it an absolute bugger to get to WHL. The only thing that gets us a postponement is burning the town down. It does make sense, but fuck 'em.

Used to be a Bank Holiday service though. There are still several ways to get there from West Ham or Essex, and there are usually extra trains laid on on match days to Drayton Park iirc.
