Yorkie
Caulkin basically swerving the question about what the consortium are doing re matching the fans' efforts. Not a bad sign imo. Outright ignored it this time.
Yorkie
Another lad raising basically the same thing; "fans are doing this, what are the consortium doing right now?" but no direct answer or comment from Caulkin. We know he knows a lot about Staveley's strategy.
Alberto2005
Anyone suggesting that we feed back to Staveley that we need more help other than a few supportive messages is getting brushed over by Caulkin. I think it's important we do have more transparency with the buyers so I'm not sure why.

The fact he ignored it worries me. It suggests the answer is “nothing”.

Yeah he’d be mental to discuss the buyers strategy on a public video
Yorkie
Aye. If the answer was 'nowt', I don't really see he wouldn't just say that. The answer clearly isn't nothing. We wouldn't be acting in the way we are if nothing was happening.
Yorkie
Grateful to the Trust and to those who made that happen for putting it on, but useful/interesting points were in pretty short supply. A bit of an agenda to shape the discussion would be useful next time imo. But Greg, Alex, George all spoke really well as you'd expect
NE27
Missed this as I was driving! Anyone kindly sum up some of the key points raised? Anything we didn't already know divulged?
Guest Cheesy Beans
Something fresh and new needed for next week. The letters to MPs has worked a treat, but what next? We need to keep ideas running because we need to keep the pressure up now it has been established.
gdm
Missed this as I was driving! Anyone kindly sum up some of the key points raised? Anything we didn't already know divulged? Nothing new really. I believe the audio will be released as a podcast, probably today
manorpark
Others may disagree, but I think that is an excellent letter, and (at last) someone has stopped "pussyfooting around" these EPL London and Top Six obsessed ("we are invulnerable") types. He will need to follow it up with the actual legal action of course, and if he needs financial assistance to do so, I'm sure that we and/or NUST, will be able to help him. I really enjoyed reading that letter !! I hope that NUST can support this letter?
Guest Howaythetoon
I must say, since signing up the emails sent out by NUST have been very professional, in depth, communicative and full of involving its members in terms of the content within. Maybe one for Greg[/member] can I sign the boys up so they become members too or are they too young and do members get a supporters card or something? Maybe one for Greg[/member] can I sign the boys up so they become members too or are they too young and do members get a supporters card or something? I'll have to check - I think you need to be 16 to have a share but might be able to still become members without a share. Let me come back to you. Raconteur
It was nice of Staveley to thank the Trust and fans with such eloquent verbosity. A shame she ran out of words to tell us “what’s next”...

Excellent, I know how strongly you feel about these issues and your enthusiasm, abilities and common sense would be very useful on the NUST Council. Good Luck.
