Probably Jenas. He's one of very few footballers with a good degree of intelligence

he ALWAYS makes the wrong choice. ALWAYS.

Erm, we're in the Championship and he'll be playing European football next season.

What I meant by the original comment is that he's one of very few top players who doesn't sound like he's just graduated from special school. He's an intelligent articulate fella - a total cunt as well of course but that never stopped Fergie.

On a side note I can see Bellamy giving management a go as well. Just seems like the type

Which current players have got it then? I know all the tired clichés about how a great player doesn't make a great manager but it seems from the soundbites that a lot of the top players and big names of the last decade or so are thinking about management one day; off the top of my head there's Shearer, Rio, Terry, Carragher and even Rooney talked about doing it.

One I reckon could be up to it is Geremi. He comes across very well in interviews, a bright bloke, can speak about 6 languages or something mental and has played for some of the worlds top clubs (Real Madrid, Chelsea, Middlesborough). Along with that he's always looked someone who can read the game and was a father figure to Zog and Bassong whilst they were here, Zog in particular being something of a strange one. He seems to have the attributes, I'd be interested to see if he goes into it when he finally retires. On a downside, at the age of 71 I fear he may be too old to be starting out in this game.

Any others you've got your eye on? I think most would have predicted the calm, level headed Temuri going into management but there must be others out there.

All of a sudden I want Geremi as our manager.

Phil Neville seems one of the most obvious candidates to me.

I reckon Bolo Zenden with his 73 different languages and desire to keep playing to a relatively old age could be one to move into coaching too.

Also the likes of Tim Cahill, David Unsworth, Davey Weir, Jamie Carragher, Gary Neville, Darren Fletcher, John Terry etc

From us I think Kevin Nolan is most probable to go in to management. Steven Taylor will probably have a go and fail immensly.

Marcus Allbäck is going to be Erik Hamréns assistant now that Lagerbäck has left Sweden, him and Henrik Larsson will make good managers, especially Larsson. Loads of knowledge and intelligence coped with self-confidence and authority.
