Mick
Someone should confiscate Lee Ryder's computer. They should do the same with those giving one of our players stick on twitter.
Minhosa
From what I can work out so far - *There always has to be one player we don't like. *He is quite cocky. *He blames everyone else for his mistakes. *The backing off thing was blown out of proportion some time back. *He is absolute dogshit in possession and his lack of quality on the ball costs us. I don't give a shit if he's the most arrogant, self congratulating, blame layer going if he can do a job. Has to be replaced for the first team this summer. Not bothered if he stays around on the bench to fill in every now and again.
Tiresias
Agree twitter abuse is obnoxious, if we want players to be more engaging on twitter and not just run by PR people they shouldn't be subjected to hate, even if their performances are poor.
LoveItIfWeBeatU
Danny Simpson had one of those 'air cast' boots on his right foot during the lap of honour so he won't be playing against Everton. If rumour is to be believed he may have played his last game for NUFC.

Ishmael
A solid servant and a good defender who contributed in the last 3 seasons, regardless of his deficiencies in possession.

BoSelecta
A solid servant and a good defender who contributed in the last 3 seasons, regardless of his deficiencies in possession. This. Im not his biggest fan but he's been consistant and reliable for the past 3 seasons. Whats he been on 10k p/w? To think weve been paying Smith 60k p/w the whole time puts it in perspective abit. AyeDubbleYoo
Agree too, I don't have any bad feelings towards the lad at all. Ultimately he might not be good enough to start for us every week, but he's tried his best and served us well.
STM
I too have no problem with Simpson, other than him being a bit of a nugget he's never cause the club harm. However, footballing wise he's not up to the standard of the rest of the squad.

Cajun
Not up to the standard of the rest of the SQUAD? I disagree. One of the first positions to upgrade in the first 11 then I would agree.
Zach
Williamson's probably a poorer footballer for a start. I'd like to keep him but he should be a squad player next season if we want to progress.
STM
Sorry I did mean first team, but I still wouldn't keep him.
SAK
Williamson's probably a poorer footballer for a start. I'd like to keep him but he should be a squad player next season if we want to progress. Think at his age and after being a first team choice for a few years now he wouldn't want to be on the bench as he could get first team football at a mid table club. Zach
Probably true, although he would be better here. With the amount of games we have got there's definitely games for him to play. Mind, if he was to leave for more games I wouldn't be annoyed by it and could understand his reasons.
MW
Perch looked a much better right back on Sunday. Him along with Tavernier I'd be happy with as back up to santon/new rb
wormy
Cheers for the three yeas, Simmo. Good luck wherever you go. Fucking Chelsea expect him to hit somewhere like Villa.
TheGuv
http://aggbot.com/Newcastle-United-News/article/16814757 Simpson would have more than doubled his wages if he had signed the £25,000-a-week deal and his refusal has angered the Newcastle United hierarchy. The former Manchester United trainee, who has one year left on his contract, has made 40 appearances for Newcastle this season, but negotiations have stalled since the turn of the year. Joining him on the Newcastle departure list are striker Leon Best and midfielder Danny Guthrie who are both expected to sign to Aston Villa. Villa owner Randy Lerner has stressed to Alex McLeish he must get value for money and Guthrie will be available on a Bosman free transfer, while Best will be allowed to leave for around £1.5m. Guthrie, who was signed from Liverpool for £1m four years ago, has been a key player in Newcastle’s excellent season, but he is frustrated at only being considered back up to first choice centre-midfield pairing Cheick Tiote and Yohan Cabaye. Best has also done reasonably well on Tyneside, despite initially struggling for goals and form when he moved from Coventry City to join the Magpies Championship promotion charge in January 2010. The Republic of Ireland international scored six goals in 12 games following the sale of Andy Carroll to Liverpool last year, but has scored just once since September and has been replaced by £10m arrival Papiss Demba Cissé.
