Do all the clubs hire the same statue guy, as a lot of them don't look like the person they are meant to be.

I still love that midget statue that Southampton stuck outside their ground...

Shearer never celebrated like that  [emoji38] [emoji38]

He did actually.

It's still his much less well known celebration. Everyone knows it as an open hand.

His or SBR's isn't that great like, but better than a lot of others. It shouldn't be too hard to get a decent statue given today's technology. Wor Jackie's looks more like him than Shearer's FFS! His needs moved closer to SJP as well, Shearer was the better player in general, but Wor Jackie actually won stuff. If it were down to me I'd line all of SJP with statues of our former greats and info on them like stats etc. as well as pictures and flags.

Milburn's is obviously stylised, but it's a brilliant statue like.

It'd be spot on in fairness....if you were going for Bill Clinton with spina bifida

Quite surreal seeing Keegan, Shearer and Shepherd outside SJP like after everything that has gone on. Love it.

Is this the first time Keegan has been back that close to the stadium since the whole court debacle?

How are any of us supposed to know that?  I think he drove past last year on his way up to the town moor for some candy floss.

Well i obviously didnt mean it as literal as that. Poor wording perhaps but i meant more in the sense of a semi official engagement with the club - feels weird seeing him involved like that, good weird obviously but yeah.

Cheers for that though, was the candy floss for himself?

It's the wrong celebration like

Shearer with his hand up is one of the most iconic sights in football, man.

This whole 'he's done this celebration before' thing is a proper wind up like. It's not like people don't know that, it's just quite obviously not the celebration he's known for, that's the point.

They wont put the hand up for fear of people thinking its a Nazi salute.

I can't tell if you're being serious or not.
