Blackburn's owners have confirmed they have had contact with Diego Maradona, but insist caretaker Steve Kean is set to take charge until the end of the season.

So they're basically going to become us from three years ago, sack Big Sam with no real clue of who to replace him with, go for the crazy headline choice and watch the car crash happen 6 months down the line.

 They're letting Kean take over 'till the end of the season now!?

I really hope that is the case though. But on another thought, he might be Hughton v2.0.

Changed their mind now, Steve Kean not going to be considered for the permanent role.

Crazy chicken men: "We want to consider you as our permanent manager as we want to finish in the top four."

Kean: ":dowie:"

Crazy chicken men: "What do you say?"

Kean: ":dowie:"

Would be revered as a god if he went to Scotland

I'd love it if somehow he tricked some foreign club into signing him. The culture shock could be legendary.

Unlucky foreign footballer: So ahh, you say when we no have ball, we do this. So ahh, with ball we do what?

Sam: No matter where you are on the pitch, kick it as hard as you can towards the goal. Always works!

Unlucky foreign footballer: :(

He'd be class at Barca:

'Pique pumps the free kick into the opponents eighteen yard area, cleared, Puyol wins the second ball, Messi is standing on the keepers toes and Xavi scrambles it in.'

No chance

First thing he would do is sell Messi, Puyol and Xavi

Then replace them with Diouf, Samba and David Dunn
