Mike Williamson (now managing MK Dons)

Recommended Posts

No fan of his, think he is a shocking footballer BUT thought it was disgraceful the way the crowd got on his back. The lad struggles on the ball at the best of times so why the f*** would you want to crank up the pressure on him?

We really shouldn't be saying this about a Premiership footballer.

He's been s***, but it doesn't help that he's got Simpson on his side too. Poor sod.

The same can be said for Simpson

Well, not to the same extent. Williamson has to cover any player who gets past Simpson. And that is almost every player in the entire universe.

Midfield refusing to do anything but sit deep in front of him probably doesn't help the constant pressure either. Still night and day from last season and the year before.

I agree, do not rate him and the sooner he is pushed down the pecking order the better

He really needs our vocal support through the crisis of confidence, he's nowhere near as bad as he's playing.

I also think Taylors superb form and the clubs points haul without him heaped a hell of a lot of pressure on him to perform just coming back very quickly from injury.

We should have bought a cb in the window, poor decision by the board not to invest in this position.

Not the caliber player needed to push for Europe. When Taylor went down, the club was in a position where Champions League football was not out of question. (Always a long shot, but how often are you going to get an opportunity like that?)

Poor decision to go into the second half of the season without signing a decent CB.  An opportunity missed. Penny-wise, pound-foolish. etc.

Guest andrew

Today highlighted the reasons we can't play it out from the back.

Yes, i agree. Lets just panic, run around in circles, ultimately losing the ball.

Dont really understand that, but ronaldo, you can see yourself long ball doesn't work. do you think we played nice football today?
