Dave
http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/450695/In-form-Newcastle-ace-Mike-Williamson-now-calling-the-Toon Mike Williamson was expected to be a fringe member of Alan Pardew’s squad, but the 30-year-old has been one of Newcastle’s most consistent performers. His sterling displays have not gone unnoticed by the Toon Army, who have rewarded him with their own terrace anthem urging England boss Roy Hodgson to take him to the World Cup. One Magpies fan started a Twitter campaign designed to help him in that quest, and the Mike Brazilliamson account, @getmike2brazil, yesterday broke the 1,000-followers barrier. The song – to the tune of Mrs Robinson from The Graduate movie – means a lot to Williamson, reminding him how far he has come. He said: “I have seen the chants and the campaign on Twitter. I got a lot of text messages from my friends over Christmas and they were nearly all talking about the song. “It’s fantastic. The supporters here are so passionate and it’s great they have taken me to their hearts. “Hopefully, they will continue to sing it for the rest of the season, because that will mean I’m in the side and playing well.” Newcastle go into tomorrow’s home clash against league leaders Arsenal on the back of seven wins and a draw in their last nine league matches. “We could not be in any better shape,” said Williamson. “The confidence is flowing through the squad. “We know we will be going out there with a team full of fantastic ability that’s willing to work hard. We can think about getting three points from a team like Arsenal and that is a great position to be in. “We have beaten Chelsea and Manchester United so there’s no reason why we should fear Arsenal. We have proved we can mix it with the best. “It’s a big ask, but if we work hard and make sure we are spot on, we can take the points.”

Heron
 I really hope he carries this on like. Same as Shola. I thought seeing Shola at the World Cup would make my life complete and if Willo goes too my mind might just blow.
Ronaldo
As if you can bring Shola into this thread, man. Shola's a shocking player who continues to be utter shit and fail to do his job.
Heron
Should be made number 9.
Willow
As if you can bring Shola into this thread, man. Shola's a shocking player who continues to be utter shit and fail to do his job. Cheer up for fuck sake, every single newcastle fan realises Shola is absolutely turd. It's all about the comedy he brings to our lives and the fact he's going to Brazil is just the icing on the shitty cake
Ronaldo
You're joking aren't you? Plenty on here rate him.
Willow
The only thing he can do is hold up the ball, get jammy free kicks and eat an apple whilst riding a bike. Anyone who thinks otherwise is blind! Maybe I just assumed the odd few were being sarcastic
colinmk
It's fucking great Willos doing well and long may it continue. We all know he's not the most naturally talented so you can only admire the work he's putting in.

Anyone who thinks otherwise is blind! Maybe I just assumed the odd few were being sarcastic I don't think anyone on here really rates him. It is nice to see him playing well for the odd game, he suited our style for a bit but I think you have the comedy value of him going to a world cup nailed. Belfast Mags
Still shit myself every time we pass him the ball like. Doing great at the moment though. He does as well Really delighted for him at the minute, steadily plying his trade and working hard for the team. Played a couple of decent forward passed as well which was nice to see. Belfast Mags
What's even worse is, if he randomly pitched up at the Red vs Blue game, he'd be the best player by a country mile. Scary thought that
