One of the most underrated IMO. Probably because he had quite an ungainly technique on the ball. But he rarely gave away possession. And he worked so well with Robert down that left flank.

Ex-footballers owning pubs in retirement feels like it’s from a different era - it seemed to most players’ retirement plan at one time

aye my mam and dad used to take us to a pub in Bedlington in the 80s that was owned by an ex player. i think it was John Tudor.
