BottledDog
The NF move just underlines the view that the Championship is his level. I'd say an important first team member of 2 Championship winning teams was quite a decent squad player for a lower table Premiership club to have tbh. He's probably at the height of his marketability now though, so selling him off to free up some window space for new product would be a good business move from the club. You are just precious. I'm surprised there's no lower premier league table clubs in for him if that's the case. Maybe they don't want him for the same reasons we don't? Guest
If they could just add Perch to this.
Guest pont-toon
Like to see him at Birmingham or Brighton. Can see him going to Forest for some reason. Never heard of this betting site like but they have him already moving to QPR in July http://www.betinf.com/england_transfer.htm ITK
Sifu
If they could just add Perch to this. The return of their former captain might just sway them.......nah () Who would actually take Perch....
Punk77
If we could get back what we paid, I'm satisfied. Routledge proves the difference in quality between Championship and Premier League. He rules the former, but is utter shit in the latter.

STM
He's an excellent player in that division, very good signing for Forest. Assuming we sell, which we will.
Skirge
WayneRoutledge Wayne Routledge So he thinks he can come beat me at fifa! At my house? Haha #noCheik http://lockerz.com/s/117954893 3 minutes ago Favorite Retweet Reply
Ketsbaia
would normally be happy to keep him, but if the club are waiting to sell a few before buying, then I'm fine with Routledge being one of them. good memories though, i remember being ecstatic at Uni the day we bought him. Guest
Served his purpose, was way out of his depth when we got to the Premier League, time to thank him and move him on.
Sifu
Served his purpose, was way out of his depth when we got to the Premier League, time to thank him and move him on. It's still a shame though about him not being able to play to a high level in the PL imo. I was cautiously optimistic that he would be different this time round in the PL when we got promoted and actually step up to the plate. Alas wasn't to be. midds
Got no ill will towards Routledge at all, signed for little and rubber-stamped our promotion. Doesn't look to be a PL player though although his biggest attribute is pace which will always mean he is a threat at most levels of the game. Tried his best, had a few shit games along the way but he ensured we bounced back at the first attempt with room to spare.
Guest
Yep, gave us an injection after January and we just pissed it after that.
Cajun
It's absolutely crazy how awesome he is in the championship but can't step up, he was imo MUCH better than Jonas down there. Just shows how different attributes transfer a lot better to different leagues.
Guest bimpy474
Has to be a mentality thing with Routledge, everything is there in the Championship, yet in the Premier time and time again he hasn't produced, confidence and belief just lacking in the lad when he's at the top level. Cajun
The Stevenage game was strange too, he SHOULD have raped the fuck out of them!
Guest bimpy474
Bad day for everyone that Stevenage game, they were up for it and we weren't, games like that sort out the fighters from the meek, not just on that day but how they react to it also, I think Routledge falls in the latter, shame because the lad is easy to like. Yorkie
Whilst i think he's out of his depth at this level, i wouldn't have rushed to move him on unless there was definitely an N'Zogbia coming in. Providing it doesn't enable the likes of Ryan Taylor to start more than three or four times in the league, this would be a good move for all parties. Plus, i think the way we conduct business regarding outgoing players, we won't be selling him for anything less than we paid; might even make a profit. Cheerio, Wayne, and thanks. Ronaldo
Still think as things stand he's good enough for the bench. I'd keep him.
Chicken Dancer
Still think as things stand he's good enough for the bench. I'd keep him. Me too, but if means we actually have a right winger in the pipeline I'd take it. But we won't, so may as well keep him to prevent the even less showers of shit from getting a game.
