The debt was amortising and matured in (IIRC) 2016. It only needed refinancing because of the change of control at the club, even though that bog-standard clause came as a total surprise for the supposedly business-savvy Ashley. Guest Brazilianbob Posted January 29, 2010 Share Posted January 29, 2010 The transfer deadline doesn't apply where a club is in administration as it could cause them to go out of business if they can't sell players after the window has closed. An example of this was us signing Darren Ambrose from Ipswich when they went into temporary administration (I think it was only for 24 hours) but the administrators sold him to us at a knock down £1m in the September after the transfer window had closed. I recall the Ipswich fans were furious that we "stole " him for just £1m! I can't see this happening with Moses though, the big boys will come in for him at the last minute, they will just hang back to try and ensure the price isn't too inflated by a bidding war and the administrators will then snap their hands off. His agent is making out that he would be intrested in joining us. so £2 million and the administrators would surley have to accept our bid if the player rejects Forest and WBA.
