Cunning_Linguist
If he is Retired now, all we have to do is to get Ashley to persuade him to come out of retirement then he can sign for us on a free until the end of the season

M4
You wouldn't have signed Guivarc'h! Actually we signed him before the tournament... so we could have had the best of both worlds!
Ronaldo
Perhaps the greatest goalscorer ever. Look forward to seeing him play beach football.
AyeDubbleYoo
The definition of 'unplayable' at his peak, the guy was like a force of nature. Don't think I've enjoyed watching many players more, his power and pace combined with awesome technique were unbelievable.
Thespence
So he becomes a free agent the morra, Pards get out there man. Shame that he is knocking it on the head because of Corinthians fans.
OzzieMandias
If I was Pardew I'd be thinking about it. Remember when Ronaldo was injured at Inter, and Sir Bobby said he'd been talking to Lippi about something else, and had said, "Send him to us, we'll get him fit for you!" Thespence
Could you imgaine the buzz of the clapped out one playing till the end of the season for NUFC. Brazilian players love a comeback. Guest NewBoyPeetah
A sad day for football, quite possibly the greatest player I've ever watched. Thank you Ronaldo for bossing defenders all over the world.

Ketsbaia
This feels strange. A world where Ronaldo isn't playing football? When I was a young whippersnapper and just discovering football, he was the best there was. I was in awe of him. Its just so sad to see whats happened since, especially in the last 5 years or so but football will greatly miss him. What a player though!
Village Idiot
Still the best striker I have seen wearing our shirt. Makes me proud to know we had him at least for *that* year. Legend.
Guest neesy111
Best finisher I've ever seen. Only think we saw him at his best between 96 and 98 when he was completely dominant in world football.

Shak
His record at Madrid is hilariously good when you consider he was only a shell of his pre-injury self. Just the complete package. Messi is the only one I've seen that you can make a case for in terms of being th best player I've ever seen. Who do you reckon was better having seen them both play for the team you support Village Idiot, you absolute fucking jammy cunt?
