Neil
I don't think Bruce has done a bad job with the players he has. Though you could argue with the amount of time he has had he should have brought in a bettter squad. Amount of money as well as time. Short has released plenty of funds for Bruce to play with and what does he buy? Mediocrity. Surprisingly, that will result in a mediocre season. Ikon
Saying that we've scored lucky goals, too bad we can't score the impressive ones like their ones against Stoke
Tiresias
Didn't he buy Vaughn from Blackpool? I rate him quite highly, excellent passing, did very well playing the fast and good attacking football for them, pity he went to Sunderland then lol
Neil
He's a very tidy player, yes, and didn't get the headlines Adam did, but he's not the sort of player who is going to help Sunderland really progress. Along with nearly all of Bruce's signings.

BlueStar
SUNDERLAND chairman Niall Quinn is a shock contender to take over as Manchester City’s new chief executive. It’s believed that City, searching for a successor to Garry Cook who resigned over an alleged unsavoury email, are aware of uncertainty over their former striker’s future at the Stadium of Light. Sunderland club officials had to move swiftly two weeks ago in the aftermath of a home defeat against Chelsea to deny Wearside rumours Quinn had resigned. Sunday Express Sport has reported that relations between Quinn and American owner Ellis Short have become strained over the past months with Short bringing in two of his own men from the USA to enable a more hands-on approach from the other side of the Atlantic. Friends say that Quinn has become frustrated believing he has become the whipping boy for any Sunderland problems. City, who have started a worldwide search for the right man to head the off-the-field Etihad Stadium operations, are considering Quinn’s attributes in the knowledge that he remains a favourite with the club’s older fans. Quinn also has an ally in City’s head of football operations, Brian Marwood. The pair have remained friends after being team-mates at Arsenal in the 1980s. http://www.express.co.uk/football/view/273492/Niall-Quinn-in-the-frame-to-be-Etihad-chief

Dr Venkman
all these mackems stressing over how the media supposedly love us,I'd really hate to be them if we started doing well and actually got a bit of praise. I think the bitterness comes from seeing us being run by a guy who is dis-liked by most of the fans and ridiculed by pretty much everyone in football, has presided over our relegation...and yet....a great start and some positive football, plus a victory at SOL. Bet they're fucking hating it,only makes it worse that their manager looks clueless, they've signed loads of average and their star strikers nicked off Just cheered myself up writing this actually

Revolution Number 9
To be fair to Quinn, he does seem to be a fairly canny bloke in real life, but I'm not sure he's good enough for the city job like.

Benwell Lad
The fat red faced one had big grin on his face as he left the director's box yesterday shortly after Demba notched his third.
