taxfree
How reliable is this source, VI? http://www.sport.es/default.asp?idpublicacio_PK=44&idioma=CAS&idnoticia_PK=738763&idseccio_PK=804 Reckons we had scouts at the Espanyol v Real Sociedad last week and we're looking at Kameni as well as Callejon. Don't think we should be in for a new goalie. We have decent enough/good/very talented players there, so the money should be spent elsewhere. Callejón to us is a quite exciting rumor though. We need some pace and technique up front.
Ronaldo
He's also not the strongest. He's playing easily the best football of his career away from CM. you talk some f***ing s*** sometimes man But seriously, he is.

Dave
http://www.teamtalk.com/newcastle-united/6807962/Pardew-on-hunt-for-No-9 "I think the No 9 is a very special shirt here and I'm not going to give it to just anybody. "I really hope that somebody emerges - or we bring somebody in who can carry that shirt. "It is an important figurehead for this football club. "It brings with it a pressure that the player who wears it needs to be able to deal with. "I will have to think long and hard about that." Hmm. Ronaldo
Wouldn't read much into that. It's just an incentive for those currently on the books.

Raconteur
Should give the number 9 to Tiote And the #10 to Jose Enrique to cconvince him to stay?
Guest elbee909
Should give the number 9 to Tiote And the #10 to Jose Enrique to cconvince him to stay? The number 9 convinced Carroll to stay so why not? Oh.

oldtype
I think it's pretty safe to assume that the club is going to go out and find a 10m striker to "replace Carroll" and take over the number 9 just to get it out of the way. Of course, the last time we went No.9-shopping, we ended up with Martins.

SteveMc
I was happy with Martins when he signed and for much of his time here. Someone of his ilk would be fine.
Punk77
There's no one in the squad who's really worth it at the moment. No. 9 is all about goals and quality. But since shearer I've always associated no. 9 with loyalty too. So if Tiote choose to stay with us forever, despite the club not being able to fulfill his trophy dreams, I have no problem with him taking the famous number. HBA has a no 9 potential though, but I think he's very attached to jersey no
Pilko
Best was offered it when he arrived and declined, I very much doubt he'd want it.

Maybe even all the way back to Supermac?
