BlueStar
Can't imagine they need the money enough to accept an offer from us rather than either hanging on to him or selling him to Spurs or Man U for more.

I think he's too much of a luxury for this league unless we went 4-5-1.

Punk77
Gervinho Taarabt Ben Arfa Ireland Barton Tiote On paper that's a stunning set up, if HBA and Taarabt dont' dribble too much. Haven't watched Gervinho, but I've read that he's inefficient. Gameiro on the other hand is known for his finishing skills. The problem with Gameiro is his size. Your formation requires an attacker capable of holding the ball until others overlap him. In other words, we need a Carroll v. 2.0 beta.

Segun Oluwaniyi
Gervinho Taarabt Ben Arfa Ireland Barton Tiote Gervinho is much more of a wing forward than a target man. Adel and HBA will provide no defensive cover at all, and this would be a minor issue with Barton and Ireland also providing no defensive cover. I like some of the players, but that is a poor way to assemble them.

toontownman
I think there are better options out there, but do people think we will be going back in for N'Zog over the summer? I know it was a bit of a desperation bid in January but Pardew clearly rates him. Not convinced on the Zoltan Gera links. Think we will still be trying for Elmander and Larsson, maybe Taiwo aswell dependant on Enrique.
