taxfree
For 6m euros i would take him. Where would you play him? Why would you want to use Ashley's money on a centre midfielder? Why would you want to use money on a crap footballer? It would make no sense to buy him.

HongKongMag
I don't get how we can be so tight but still be reported throwing 6 million pound bids around. Something does not add up somewhere.. At least not to

Guest axel
Muntari was good like several years ago but he's been total wank at Inter. Wouldn't want him here at all.

SUPERTOON
Skysports.com understands a host of clubs are ready to test Manchester City's resolve to keep Adam Johnson past this Wednesday's transfer deadline. With Samir Nasri's move confirmed last week, Johnson could well be pushed down the pecking order - despite the fact Roberto Mancini is a confirmed admirer of the England winger. Johnson himself has insisted that he is happy at the Etihad Stadium, but he knows his international chances could be hampered by a lack of first-team football. Now a battle to try and land Johnson is set to ensue, with top clubs from England, Italy and Spain all ready to try and convince City to sell. City will now ponder their position over the coming days, but Johnson's desire for regular football could see them allow him to leave just over 18 months after he joined from Middlesbrough. .http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12876_7136668,00.html

Klaus
Good player johnson like, but we need a striker and a left back, wud rather we focused on that at this moment in time...

Dr Venkman
As if this lot have the ambition to go for Johnson. there's hundreds of players around europe who might be able to do it for less money, that's where we're at.

TherealnorthernTOON
Our options for wingers have quadrupled this season compared to last. We for sure are a much more fluid team this year then last with several options to use both in counter attack and slow build up play. What we lack the most imo. Is fullbacks and a link between attack and defence. But I'm quite comfortable that Vuckic and Marveaux can provide it aswell.
SUPERTOON
Can't see Man City selling him, i think they would be open to a loan move, and would be against loaning him to one of the top clubs, i think we would be in there with the likes of sunderland, villa and everton for a loan deal. LoveItIfWeBeatU
Speaking of loans, Premier League teams have to have all incoming loans done by 11pm too don't they? If we don't land our targets I could see us getting a few last minute loans in. Man City, Man U and Chelsea must have a few players they want to loan out. I think I remember reading a couple of weeks ago that Man U had offered to loan us Macheda. There is a lot of business still to be done by most Premiership teams. Tottenham have something like 27 players aged over 21 so they'll need to get rid of 2 to meet the 25 man squad rule. Arsenal are obviously in need of players. Fulham are 5 players down on last seasons squad. Most Premier League teams "Out" column is larger than the "In" column: - Club-by-club guide to Premier League summer transfers 2011 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/article-1390662/Premier-League-transfers--2011-summer.html
