Ronaldo
I remember Collymore talking about him before the England game. Said he was by far the weakest link in their defence.
Guest BooBoo
Collymore. You could fill a library with what that insufferable wretch doesn't know.

toontownman
Ben Arfa or not we still need at least 2-3 Players, so what they f***ing around at? Dithering is what this lot at the club do best. I swear we refuse to work at signing more than one player at once. "Yes Chris we will get to it, but not until we have sorted this Ben Arfa business out, then we can think about your next target." Teasy
Of course, if we don't sign a player during the same period as this Ben Arfa saga then we mustn't be able to look at two transfers at once, fantastic logic
thewellander
Sorry if this has been posted, but the Guardian is claiming that we've inquired about Victor Anichebe. As the article says, this certainly fits the profile of the type of player we're signing. Cronky
Anichebe looks a good player, but also a centre-forward type, which isn't top of the priorities. I'm not sure Everton will be keen to do us any favours after the Gosling episode either.
Guest BooBoo
We had no blame in the Gosling deal. It's not as if we tapped him up. It was him and his agent who u turned on a handshake and left as a free agent. We then stepped in to offer him a contract. Everton are furious with the player but to blame us for the situation is a nonsense.
Guest
Alhasane Keita from Real Mallorca. http://www.diariodemallorca.es/deportes/2010/08/16/club-estudia-oferta-baja-newcastle-keita/595209.html Mallorca have received an offer for Alhasane Keita, a player not in the plans of manager Michael Laudrup. The club is looking to benefit by selling the Guinean forward, by saving €750k a year on his wages, a prohibitive figure for the club.
Guest ObiChrisKenobi
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/8902975.stm#new POTENTIAL TARGETS: Hatem Ben Arfa, Jimmy Bullard, Alan Hutton. Are these just 'these players would be good', or are there actual reports of 'interest' I've missed?

Guest
Wiki says he's a 27 year old, 5'6" striker. Only 8 goals in 47 games for Mallorca, decent goal record for FC Zurich & Al Ittihad.
Mr Logic
Yeah, I got the wrong one initially, there's a Barca player also, never checked d.o.b. when I found Mallorca site.

Was a revelation for Zurich but don't know if he would cut it in the PL. Great technician though...
