Pretty clear Douglas hasn't go a clue.

Seems like it, anyone notice this yesterday:

NEWCASTLE United will push ahead with a move for Holland defender Erik Pieters regardless of whether want-away defender Jose Enrique moves on before the end of the transfer window.

United have made an enquiry to PSV Eindhoven about the international defender and with doubts about Enrique’s commitment to the cause they would like to push a deal through before the weekend.

And today:

He said: “I am sure some of the fans will be asking why we had not brought a left-back in earlier.

Didn't spot this yesterday

YOSSI BENAYOUN has the choice of a move to Tottenham or Newcastle.

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/3745255/Newcastle-or-Tottenham-for-Yossi-Benayoun.html

he would choose tottenham and modric to chelsea!

Too old - over 30.

So was Sol Campbell

Campbell was Hughtons choice though, fought tooth and nail to get him against Ashley's better judgement.

Has Terry Mac only been here when KK has or did someone else bring him back n all? Can't remember.

He stayed with Dalglish when he took over.

Wasn't he here under Souness too? And then Roeder

:nods:

Terry Mac left after Guillit was appointed. Then brought back to the club by Souness and stayed until KK walked in 2008 (so he was here under Allardyce too).
