"Pep Guardiola, Fabio Capello, Roberto Martínez and André Villas-Boas are all under consideration."

Guardiola? FFS  Starting to sound like the makems now

Was only a matter of time till Pep came up. Deluded twats.

Is it only me that doesn't quite get the Brenden Rodgers love-in. He's done incredibly well with Swansea, sure, but before then he failed miserably at Reading. Not convinced whether he'll be able to replicate his success there elsewhere tbh.

There's a piece in today's Echo on how Liverpool's owners discussed merits of both ONeill and Pardew. They've not made the shortlist though.

how could pards not make a fucking shortlist after the season he's had?  his pr/media skills are up there with the best, oh and he just managed footballs equivalent of the fucking A-team to the brink of the CL

NEEEEEEEEXT!

I think out of respect to King Kenny, and in recognition that only a significant upgrade is desirable I think they should restrict the selection process only to the elite set of managers who managed to mastermind a victory over KKK's team this season.

Brendan Rodgers

Roberto di Matteo

Martin Jol

Roy Hodgson

Alan Pardew

Mark Hughes

Roberto Martinez

Martin O'Neill

Arsene Wenger

Alex Ferguson

Owen Coyle

Roberto Mancini

Harry Redknapp

Tony Pulis

A select list I'm sure you'll agree.

Its 14... take Pards and Marty off (who apparently didn't make the list) and you get... 12
