Now they have a squad of 25 players of near equal quality. In DM for example. De Jong, Kompany, Barry, Viera are all of a similarish quality but none of them worldbeaters. Unfortunately Touré destroys my point but it's the same in other positions. Defenders, none of them are particularly great. They are mostly top 6, yes, but not top 4. Shak Posted August 29, 2010 Share Posted August 29, 2010 Think this kind of thing will happen to City a few times this year, can't for the life of me understand why you go out there with such a negative setup when you have the players in your squad to go out there and give teams a good hiding. Really need to get one of Barry or De Jong dropped and play Adebayor or Silva IMO. Hope they don't and struggle though, don't like them or their negative manager. If you're going to go out and try and buy your way to success in such an obscene way, at least have the fucking decency to play good football in the process.
