Dave
Wonder if they'd have capitulated like this with Lampard and/or Terry in the side.

Village Idiot
Laughing my ass off at all the manly hyperbole in the Spanish commentary for the Madrid game: "A match for men", "a body to body affair", "not for the squeamish". EDIT: "All muscle and sweat" now. Priceless stuff.

johnnypd
they were missing Essien, Lampard, Terry, Alex and a malarial Drogba playing at 50% of his ability. that's the entire spine of their team screwed. even looking beyond the messed up back four, a midfield of Ramires, Zhirkov and Mikel is really poor. if those three line up in midfield against us i'll be happy. Guest kingdawson
Sunderland have an impressive set of strikers tbh. Bent and Gyan are easily capable of getting 15 plus league goals and Wellbeck is a grafter with good ability on the ball. The only problem is Gyan and Bent will not work as a partnership. Both are too similar. It's one or the other imo.

Parky
Strange how the 'big clubs' are all having periods of struggling this season. Man U have won only one away game out of 7 for instance.
Village Idiot
Botía playing the game of his life. We shouldn't have sold him on this form. EDIT: Ramos was wearing Pepe's shortpants after coming out for the second half.
