DJ_NUFC
Will he be reprimanded for those comments? Fuck will he, just like Colo. For all Pardew's talk about putting faith in players who have 'heart,' he seems to turn a blind eye when his regulars openly talk about wanting to leave the club. Pata
I wouldn't question his commitment on the pitch, no matter what he says.
DJ_NUFC
No, not at all. He's actually been one of our most reliable players when in form in his time here, and often his form coincides with the good form of the team. Bossed Old Trafford, first thing that comes to mind. midds
Players come and go all of the time, wrong to get too attached to one of them in this day and age. He's done his time and now wants his move, it's understandable and it'll happen in January. He'll be hawked around to get the best price and we'll spend the money he brings in and spin it as Ashley bailing us out of the shite again. Good old uncle Mike. Ronaldo
Bossed Old Trafford, first thing that comes to mind. Who doesn't? Anyway, Tiote's obviously been tapped up by some nondescript Russian rubbish offering him more money and more wives. No great loss to see him go. Dave
The club have been trying to flog him for years anyway, so no real surprise.
Pilko
Hope we sell him ASAP. He's crap 9 times out of 10 and also blocking Anita's place in the team, though that is thanks to our dickhead of a manager. I was 'done' with Tiote after the 7-3 at the Emirates and I haven't changed my stance on that since.

BillClinton
So our Captain is shit, one vice captain wants to leave and the other is injured all the time..? Perfect.
Pilko
Anita has performed well when he's been given a run in the team. Tiote is always put straight back in as soon as he's fit again, and is supposedly our midfield warrior who helps to shield the back four; except he's much better at gifting the opposition possession and being woefully out of position most of the time. Just because Tiote has cut back on the yellow cards a tad, quite a few people believe Pardew's guff that he's suddenly a disciplined and reliable player. He isn't. Ronaldo
I think 'ineffective' is a better word for Tiote. There are games where he appears to be doing his job very well, yet it doesn't positively impact us from an attacking or defensive perspective. Pilko
I think ineffective is generous, tbh. I wouldn't massively disagree with that analysis though. He's quite detrimental to our play most of the time. Again, this is Pardew's stupid infatuation with Tiote and having him on the team sheet every week, no matter who the opposition are, home and away. His debut at Everton showed he was a player who could retain possession, play short passes, win tackles, and generally spoil when we're under the cosh. He doesn't really fulfil any of those four functions properly on even a semi-regular basis anymore.

His opinion of himself seems quite high if he thinks Arsenal are desperate to sign him.
Guest JS
I'm not entirely sure, even after a few years, exactly what he brings to the team. Charging around, making some tackles and picking up stupid yellow cards is usually the norm, but seldom are there any key passes or progressive movement getting the ball up the pitch. He's had some great games, but really they are few and far between. I seem to remember Ajax fans taking the piss seeing Tiote praised and Anita stuck on the bench, and that's completely reflective of this shit cunts gameplan and overall approach to football; get the tackles in, charge around, et al. Top level players with these kind of attributes actually have footballing ability to bring to the table too, and I just don't think Tiote has that - those stupid hollywood balls and long passes he tried a couple of seasons back man. All of the 'SHOOOOOOT' stuff too Any manager who plans on having the game played on the deck with intelligence would have Anita in midfield over Tiote. I think it's fair to say he has been ineffective, and I'd be interested to see how he'd play under a competent manager, but players like him are slowly becoming obsolete and it's easy to see why. Lotus
Problem with Tiote is no matter how bad we might look with him playing we just look that wee bit worse when he's not.
The College Dropout
Anita & Colback in midfield - lol. Zero creativity. Zero presence. Neither assert themselves on games. Just an horrendous idea.
Consortium of one
Tiote is playing better. He'll be sold in January.
Village Idiot
Linked as Toure's replacement in Jan in the Daily Mail. I think they are in for a surprise if City intend to replace Toure with Tiote. Although I suspect it's just lazy journal(rac)ism: "scary black midfielder to replace another scary black midfielder". AyeDubbleYoo
I rate Tiote if used properly, but he's not good enough to play for Man City, and probably not Arsenal either. Although his boosted confidence from the move might make him useful to Arsenal in the short term.
TRon
One of the commentators on the Sky team seemed to think he wants a move. I don't know where that came from, haven't heard it anywhere else.
