After a one-year loan to Roda JC, Twente paid 2,5M € (with sell-on clause for Anderlecht apparently). Was apparently usually rotated with an attack midfielder, depending on the opponent. The WC kind of put him in the spotlight, otherwise I think he would have had his first season as first choice midfielder at Twente... Definitely the type of player we needed and better at defending than any of our midfielders, but he still has a lot to learn.
