Ronaldo
His injury record has been appalling since he gained a bit of bulk. It'll probably get worse as he gets older sadly.
mouldy_uk
Shit, just seen he may be out for the season. Good things never last for Newcastle fans

Guest palnese
He'll have to scan the bastard, right? Or is a ruptured achilles something you can tell just by looking at it?
Si
His injury record has been appalling since he gained a bit of bulk. It'll probably get worse as he gets older sadly. He lost the bulk this season starting every match though didn't he?
Turnbull2000
Journal stating ruptured achilles. f*cking injuries, every f*cking season ffs
ChrisMcQuillan
Wraith definitely been told he's out for the rest of the season.
Dinho lad
Ashley's "successful" policy well and truly paying off. Glad I didn't jump on the bandwagon.... *cough* easily impressed media *cough*.
Ronaldo
The Ian W bandwagon is empty, mate. None of us were happy with that abysmal window, or the one before that......
Zero
Tavernier?
Dinho lad
The Ian W bandwagon is empty, mate. None of us were happy with that abysmal window, or the one before that...... I know, but the media in the past couple of months were basically harassing us (the fans) to admit that we were wrong and Ashley is getting it right, blah blah blah.... Mick
Tavernier? He's gone.
durhamunigeordie
Such a shame for the lad - thought it was finally going to be the season where he fulfilled his potential. Just got to patch up the defence until January and get someone in early doors. I'm sure people said Pieters can pay centrally?
alexf
Suppose we have been lucky that we had no injuries to Taylor or Coloccini until now but to lose him for the season would be gutting. Hopefully we do sign someone early in january so that we don't have to play too many people out of position for too long. If Williamson gets himself fit and up to the standard he was last season we can cope without taylor for awhile but it is a shame for the lad.
Skirge
Heartbreaking for him, he has been the best we have ever seen him, England squad was a possibility Heal soon Tayls
Stifler
Bullshit, when I prayed to God that Taylor could be injured for the whole season I meant R.Taylor, God you bastard, I'm going back to atheism.
Tsunami
This is a major major blow. Make no mistake, this hurts us real bad.
Wil
Couldn't feel more gutted tonight. For Tayls himself, after such a great start to the season he doesn't deserve another long term injury of this nature. Also got a horrible feeling the season might just peter out from now on. Just can't see us keeping up our form after losing such a key player. Jesus!! Guess it was too good to last.
Mick
Get Williamson back and we'll be OK.

midds
He's been great this season and losing him is a big blow and there's no way of spinning it any other way. We started the season with only 3 CHs and lost Williamson early and he's still out. We've been walking a tightrope since then and we fell off the fucker today. It showed the glaring gaps in our squad that needed filling in the summer but weren't. No idea what's happened to Kadar but we need someone play there for the next couple of weeks. Perch did ok(ish) bearing in mind he was up against Drogba but we need bodies through the door in January.
Si
Devastated for the lad, the only positive I can think of is that it will force us into the window in a few weeks. Colo's bargaining position for his contract has just gone through the roof too.
Fenham Mag
If anything , it was promising he could actually walk/run a bit. If it was ruptured he would have just flopped into a heap.
