maybe_next_year
Apparently only get a 1000 or so every week. Wow. He must have had an absolutely awful agent. Surely he could have pulled a Jason Roberts and doing Media work for more money? Credit to him for wanting to play, like. Their league doesn't start until the 28th. Fuck me, the city looks like 20 km away from the Syrian border You clearly haven't seen the episode of Cribs with Shola if you think he can work in media

Tsunami
See they had their first league game on Sunday. Shola must be injured or worse than we realised - he wasn't involved at all.
ponsaelius
Maybe the Turkish FA honoured his suspension like the French one did when Barton went to Marseille.
Tsunami
Maybe the Turkish FA honoured his suspension like the French one did when Barton went to Marseille. I'd forgotten he'd been comically sent off against the Scousers.

sempuki
Any news on how Shola is doing? Hope he tears up the Turkish Second Division but doubt he will.
Pilko
Debut was yesterday, subbed after 58 minutes without scoring. Probably.
Ronaldo
Failing to score and not being physically capable of running mincing around for an hour doesn't sound anything like him, to be fair.
Willow
Would you guys take Shola as our manager, instead of Pardew?
thomas
He'd be worse in different, more horrible ways that we haven't evolved to contemplate yet.
Guest TruToon94
He'd be worse in different, more horrible ways that we haven't evolved to contemplate yet. I doubt that even Shola would rate Shola as being as good as Tevez...
Big Geordie
My boss was telling me, last week that he's been talking to Shola's dad (as he knows him very well, through the church) Says Shola is settling in well, but is having to get English food flown out to him, as he can't getaway with the local grub. Food flown out to him?! Can't he at least learn to cook what he likes himself. Shola is so embarrassing man.

Hughesy
It could well be that the ingredients he want aren't easy to source in Turkey? Really isn't that weird..
TaylorJ_01
I dunno, it's just a bit british and pathetic. If you move country at least try and get into the culture a tiny bit

That's my point - standard Brit abroad behaviour I'd love if a player or manager went abroad, learned the language, got into the culture etc. Instead of flying sausage and mash out on a chartered flight and speaking with a weird, Dutch accent (McClaren). More a general viewpoint than one aimed at ol' shithead shola.
