Guest firetotheworks
I have said this a few times, but I was there the day he scored against us at the Camp Nou. He was a handful that night, looked like a genuine prospect. So was I, brilliant trip. Where's your Figo gone? Me too, was awesome. me too, was right up at the back, then when shola scored i followed through in sheer excitement! great couple of days that was, apart from the rain You mention rain like caking your duds wasn't the low point. KaKa
Man ... could you imagine Sanogo and Shola on at the same time. So much chaos factor.
Ronaldo
Ironic as it is Shola would have made a good centre half. What a load of shit.
KaKa
Ironic as it is Shola would have made a good centre half. What a load of s***. We'll lets see. He's slow, always out of position (offside), has a sloppy touch, a header that's all over the place, has no desire, loves a gentle stroll around the pitch ... Yup, makes no sense to me either
Ronaldo
Thick as pig shite, balance so bad he's on his arse with every shoulder-to-shoulder. I can't think of a worse candidate for CB. Dennis Wise would do a far better job there.

The College Dropout
He's going to score against us isn't he? I would actually laugh if he scored and did that little finger celebration he used to do when he scored more than twice a season.
KaKa
He wouldn't celebrate though. He'd go way overboard in trying to show that he isn't celebrating.
Ste
He'd try so hard not to celebrate that he'd end up celebrating. And then fall on his arse.

loki679
I reckon he'd just freeze in place, an even more unmoving statue than usual until, 5 hours later, a cleaner saunters up and whispers 'I think they've gone mate'
Guest Gino14
I can't fathom a world in which this is a good signing for Palace. Ameobi is in no way better than any striker they have, or any championship striker they could buy for peanuts. He can't even run after about ten minutes. I remember him going to Stoke on loan in the championship and them rejecting him. That was 2008 and I thought we didn't have to watch him again then, but he kept coming back. He's hardly a better player seven years later. This is the hilarious thing about it, that this is what Palace fans have to look forward to. He'll play Ameobi instead of say Chamakh, because Ameobi is a bit taller and in a few months their fans will be tearing their hair out over it. It's going to be deliciously hilarious when everything settles to the normal Pardew level, even if it's nailed on for Ameobi to score the winner against us in a cruel twist of fate. KaKa
It's a shame because you have to wonder what kind of person he really is to be big mates with Pardew. Very dodgy.

Paully
He's there to be a positive influence in the dressing room. I'm certain. This Wasn't he the one who grabbed HBA when he went for Pardew after Man Utd allegedly?!
The College Dropout
All our manager's seemed to like him on a personal level. Only Keegan didn't rate him and he probably just looked at ability. I can imagine Shola is very affable and sets a good example and always backs the manager. A uniting figure. Would make a good, good cop assistant manager.... This Wasn't he the one who grabbed HBA when he went for Pardew after Man Utd allegedly?! Not this again. He didn't go for Pardew. He was mouthing off and Shola grabbed him and marched him out. Pardew's chief boot licker in the dressing room. Pardew even insisted he be in there when injured.
