No punishment necessary - Stoke still don't know that Pardew intends to play him at RB and Simpson at LM to solve our LB's injury. :snod:

Surely we should play Simpson at LB and Gutierrez at RM?

And colo in midfield, shola down the left and harper upfront.

That would be ridiculous.

Be a s*** choice to play him at left-back like. Another square peg in a round hole, and a nice knock to Ferguson's confidence.

Suppose its better than Ferguson having his confidence knocked out by Ricardo Fuller's head

  • 2 weeks later...

It's almost infuriating knowing that he is capable of stuff like that - it was (another) superbly taken goal. Whether he plays well or not, you can't fault the guy's passion to the cause. He fucking loves it.

Jonas  Ben Arfa  Barton

        Nolan  Tiote

I could more than handle that as next year's midfield.

That lot got outplayed by Stoke at SJP. Just food for thought.

Was Ben Arfa's second start in England and we only conceded when Ben Arfa went off and we were never really outplayed anyway.

And Routledge played.

Stoke don't play, man.

They may have got bypassed by Stoke.

God, a bypass around Stoke.  The world's favourite bypass.

With largely those players, we couldn't create or retain posession.
