Mole_Toonfan
Gonna score today. “We had Argentinian Day on Thursday so we were all a bit full from the meats, but we will be OK for the match at Wigan.” Nah Colo will
Dave
I'd take that. He's done it before against these.
Fugazi
Did you see him post a picture of Andy Carroll's chrome Range Rover and calling it a monstrosity Also someone tweeted: @dancingbear76: @Sammy_Ameobi did it end up a smouldering wreck in a Ponteland driveway?” indeed it did my friend lol Love Sammy. "lol" Had only seen the burned version, that is horrific.
ElDiablo
Was dead on his feet from 60 mins but still kept running and closing down whenever needed, bless him. Feel bad that we have players outshining him and getting more coverage, not that they don't deserve it, but Jonas puts in a huge shift every week and doesn't get any plaudits outside the club. IndonesianToon
For me he does not bring the ball forward as often now. That used to be his main asset, to release pressure on the defence. Is it for a tactical reasons or he just get tired (getting older) ?

Is it for a tactical reasons or he just get tired (getting older) ? purely down to the way we now play, added to him often playing more centrally of late. Guest andrew
Just thought i'd add my two cents worth in here, how much pace has he lost this year? pretty big drop if you ask me. watch those spiderman highlights from his debut and compare. it's okay though, he's gained in other areas to compensate. he's a lot stronger and he crosses the ball really well now, also seems to have got a better mental aspect to his game where he can read and anticipate better. nto really anything major to add. gonna be needed a lot next year with the extra fixtures. AyeDubbleYoo
He was very good today up I thought, poor crossing on a couple of occasions though.
Guest andrew
He was very good today up I thought, poor crossing on a couple of occasions though. there were a few times yeah, but i've noticed when he swings it with his left it is generally pretty accurate. he's lost some physique but hes gaining some technique and brain. still a good player for us and will be for the next few years
STM
You need a Guiterrez in your team, no doubt.
The College Dropout
I reckon he's just knackered.
toontownman
I have time for him, especially playing more central as a three with Tiote and Cabaye. Worked his ass off again today, lacks pace but still has tricks in his locker for passes and holding up the ball. Still think he needs replacing on the starting team sheet. Oakie Doke
I reckon he's just knackered. Me too, he's played pretty much every second of every game and has always put in 100%. Amazing he's still got anything left in the tank.
Tiresias
Ran his socks off today, as he always does, good show though.
Dr Venkman
I like Jonas, I really do, but he offers very little on the wing these days imo, certainly in a 4-4-2.

Ronaldo
Depends if there's a Tiote alongside him. Sometimes we need both, often we don't, frankly
Yorkie
Legend, but having seen him in that central role, there's nowhere else i want him now. Particularly not on the wing with Santon, which will never work. Absolutely vital player though, no doubt. He's had a good season.
Ronaldo
He's done OK at times. Not my type of player at all, but each to their own.
Shak
Excellent squad player. Would like to see someone more creative brought in to play alongside Cabaye and Tiote in the 4-3-3, ideally next year Jonas won't be a part of our strongest eleven. Works his arse off though and can play a few different spots, just what you want in a squad player.
Yorkie
He's done OK at times. Not my type of player at all, but each to their own. 'Okay at times' is a bit harsh like. He blew hot and cold in the first half of the season, but since the turn of the year - and particularly when we switched formations, he's been good. He was an integral part of the midfield that helped us win six on the bounce. Ben Arfa certainly wouldn't have had the same impact if it weren't for Jonas. The whole "it's Ben Arfa's world" whilst in possession was made possible because Jonas was always there when HBA couldn't get past a defender(s). Aye, you can say that for anyone - "player X wouldn't have been as good if it weren't for player Y" - but Jonas' work ethic and possession play was one of the main reasons why we took the piss against so many midfields during that little spell. But aye, not trying to argue for the sake of him. I can see why he wouldn't be someone's cup of tea.
Tiresias
Like him in the central role doing the leg walk for a Cabaye further forward. On wing can be frustrating sometimes, but helps us maintain consistency throughout a match.
Ronaldo
I think he's blown hot and cold all season, tbh. I love him as a bloke and as an athlete but he's an average, average footballer on his best day.
Tiresias
He had a poor period this season, but he's ended it strongly, i meant consistency within a game :/
