Tooj
Italian football has always been an in house affair, and during the 90s many considered the best league in Football. Think there's a fear that if they left Italy they'd be overlooked for the national team and become outcasts (as used to happen in Holland). Aye - Van Basten, Gullit and Rijkaard were outcasts when the played for Meelan.

ToonMonty
After being in Italy recently it would take a massive amount for me to leave if I'd been born there. A fantastic country, history, climate, awesome place.

Guest ObiChrisKenobi
Well none proven at the highest level of British Football (yet). Wouldn't surprise me if something was blown open in 10 years time though. There's far too many cases of the 'big' teams getting things fallen into their laps just like in the Italian leagues. Village Idiot
Mmmm... Cigarini, Contini, Rossi (I guess)... yeah, not that many in Spain either. We have a shedload of Italian-Argentinians though (like Colo), but don't think those count.
