Can't find the clip but found this from a match report.

The sending-off did seem as unnecessary as the feud between Shearer and Colin Calderwood had been unseemly. It had started in the very first minute, with Shearer complaining about being penalised for falling into Calderwood. It ended in the 71st when, on the edge of the centre circle, the England captain backed into Calderwood - the pair's gentlest contact of the afternoon.

We can all sleep easy now.

I remember a few days after that game, some silly bint doing her refereeing qualifications ringing up You're on Sky Sports and trying to explain why Shearer was sent off, and trying to justify it by quoting a paragraph from a rule book. Marsh just laughed, made a semi-sexist remark and told her 'get off' - twas pretty funny.

Calderwood admits Hibs woe could go on

Sun, 30 Jan 16:56:14 2011

Hibernian manager Colin Calderwood admits his team's dreadful run could go on and on after a woeful 3-0 defeat at Dundee United - but he insisted his players "will get it right".

Goals from Jon Daly, Craig Conway and Johnny Russell made it 12 matches without a victory - and seven without a goal - for the Easter Road men, who now lie just two points above Hamilton in bottom spot.

They now face a huge 90 minutes against 10th-placed St Mirren on Wednesday as they seek to stop the rot.

Calderwood said: "I think it's infuriating for anyone (to watch defending like that). The first goal is well worked but we've got to defend it better and have that extra body in the box. We certainly can't leave a centre-forward scot-free.

"There's no end point to it, there's nothing to say it will definitely end then. It can happen in every game but we can obviously address it and we'll have to.

"Wednesday is a big one now. It always was going to be a big one. We know what we've got to do within the dressing room but we're going to ask for something that is different from the fans."

Calderwood for the chop this week, perhaps?

Haven't scored this year. Dreadful season for them, they're lucky Accies are so shit or they could be under real relegation threat.

Edit: Infact, Hamilton have 2 games in hand on them and St. Mirren have 1 in hand who are just above them. Could very realistically go down  :kasper:

How was his record at Hibs?

Pretty dire. Lost half the games they played, never played good football, and slid from a regular european spot to relegation battlers.

The nail in the coffin was probably youth, though. Hibs have spent years living off their youth academy, which regularly churns out quality (well...SPL quality) players. But Calderwood completely failed to bring through any young talent. Which pretty much left Hibs up shit creek. They've been awful this year.
