Ryan_Taylor
Only danger there is we decide 'we're the home team, lets go at them' and come unstuck/ Play like we did at Everton West Ham 2nd half and most of the City game = win. Play like Wigan Blackpool Stoke = Embarrassment
Incognito
We'll be at them from 1st to 90th minute ,non-stop barrage. Win 3-0. They're only f***ing Mackems. What's so wrong with optimism?
Anderson
There strength seems to be there defence and they've done well in the games against the top teams where they've been able to sit back and absorb pressure and try to knick it on the break. Against lesser opposition though where they've got to come out and play they haven't done too well. Long may this trend continue and we'll pick up the 3 points so long as we don't put it in our own net or give away a penalty. did you see there games v arsenal and citeh ? very much second best. they are only slightly better than the safc team that wentdpown with craog russell when all season they said "we have conceded so few goals"......they done it by defending by the 10 even when they were attacking..........then too late they realised they had to score to stop up. That's my point. They've done well in games where they've sat back and took a draw, and even snatched a win against City. They might not have put in an exceptional performance but they've took unexpected points. But against teams like Birmingham, West Brom and West Ham, games where they should be looking for a win they've been very poor and dropped points (or knocked out the cup in the West Ham case). Doctor Zaius
If we fail to draw against the worst away team in the league it's going to be hard to take like. Not just because it's the mackems but because it's going to need one hell of a turnaround for us to stay in this division.
broonalegeordie
I keep reading mackems' predicted newcastle starting lineups.... then it made me realise.... i couldn't name 11 sunderland players, never mind their strongest line up..!!! I know Bent, Mignolet, Henderson, and Bramble, oh and Gyan. Make a team with that!
Guest Loven11
Going down my dad's lasses house to watch this ( she's a mackem ) so i'm looking forward to this one. Probably be so fucking nervous come Sunday like. Anyway 2-1 win, Shola & Carroll
nobby_solano
2-1 or 3-1 to us. can see them giving us a battering with bent scoring in the 1st half, us going in at half time 1-0 and then coming out all guns blazing in the second half after hughton's decimated the tea set with carroll and shola scoring, maybe nolan too. Guest spike
spirit might grab us a result, but these games are just a one off.
Mistle17
I'm just slightly worried at the fact that the onus is on us to attack and hammer them- which appears to be something that hampers us. Lets hope I'm really fucking wrong.
Pilko
Can't see anything other than 1-1. They'll score first with Bent, after about half an hour, and Shola will equalise in the 55th.
Skirge
As long as there are no training mishaps we will have a fully fit squad..... --------------Krul Simo----Willi-----Colo-----Jose Bart------Ti0------Nol-----Jonas --------Shola--------Carroll

SUPERTOON
We can't win at home, and they can't win away. Nailed on draw?
pedro111
The banter with the Mackem scumbags at work has reached fever pitch this week. Interesting to note that they are not as confident of victory as they previously were.
Guest neesy111
We can't win at home, and they can't win away. Nailed on draw? Normally Yes, but this is a derby and form goes out of the window.
