I used to really like Tevez when he was at West Ham and even Man Utd when he seemed humble and honest and seemed to play for the love of the game.

Now I just think he's a cunt.

Glad someone said it. Excellent player mind.

Fantastic footballer but I think it was kicking Tim Krul who'd just skinned him that did for me. Wanker.

There is plenty to like about City. And I should say I have met many decent people that were City supporters.

They don't wear the colour red, they're not a big London team, Man U fans hate them... that's enough for me.

I can't believe some of the posters on here like Ozzy (who are not in their teens or 20s) can forget and forgive Man U and their supporters so easily. Their self-entitled glory hunting fans, that painful season under KK, the 99 FA Cup Final. I still loathe the f*ckers, and I am not saying the enemy of my enemy is my friend, but it's pretty close. I am not about to begrudge Man City upsetting "the Natural Order" which is a bunch of crap in the first place... at least not until Newcastle actually starts challenging for things, then I'll start to moan like the rest.

Tevez, Johnson, Great kit.

The fans who have had to live in the shadow of the biggest and most successful club in the country for the last two decades while not getting near a trophy and spending time in the third division, but have been full of humour in my experience and no more bitter than the mackems or Everton fans, the bitterness towards them here and from neutrals doesn't compare to that so they can enjoy competing as much as they like. And the fact that they are mostly local and don't yet have a trail of gloryhunters, because they haven't had any.

The fact that it was Man Utd's greed and desire to become a global brand during the 90's when they already had a budget 20% higher than everyone else that brought these owners and commercialism to the Premier league, and it's coming back to bite them in the worst way.

The first three alone are more than i can say for the "big 4" club, the others mean it will take at least five years of dominance for my hatred of Man City to match the others at the top.

He barely barged him if anything like.

Tevez the player >>>>>> Tevez the mercenary, arguably the ultimate mercanaries him and Mascherano.

CoMS is canny n all but it ain't really theres.

Balotelli's body language yesterday screamed "I don't really give a shit about this to be honest".

Hope Man Utd turn them over on Weds although I reckon City will do them, sadly.

They're like the polar opposite of us at the moment. Big-name full-of-shit manager, overpriced mercenaries, negative tactics...

I can't imagine any of their players celebrating with the heart of Shola after putting one in past the mackems.

Great point about the celebration. You cant buy passion like the Big Sho.

You just know how much it means to him. The opposite, as you correctly point out, of Balotelli.

Didn't they get very good crowds even when they were a yo-yo club?

Given the shite they've had to live with from their neighbours for the last 20 years I don't begrudge them the Arab money.

That said, if I was a Citeh supporter I'm not sure how much happier I'd actually be, because they seem miles off being a consistently performing side with players those same proper supporters can relate to.

Before the takeover, if I'd been asked which top division club I'd like to see get an influx of investment discounting ourselves, I can't think of many I'd have put ahead of them to be honest.

They got 30 odd thousand in the third division iirc.

And I doubt there's many of them who aren't happier now than when they were shit, you might get pats on the back from other shit clubs but it doesn't make up for being successful. The club will change but that happens however you get to the top.

It will all tail off pretty quickly anyway like it has with Chelsea. When City started spending there was even people trying to argue Chelsea hadn't done exactly the same thing.

He's never been one for celebrating goals though to be fair, has he?

He hasn't. He's just an arse infinitely.
