Was he the guy that never used Mascherano?

Yes. He also failed to scotch the talk that Mascherano and Tevez had de-railed the spirit of his (shite) squad, and in fact seemed to encourage it. I find it impossible to respect such a tit and if he ends up here I think I'll just take a back seat interest until the club gets sold.

Someone on Twitter told me off for thinking that. They said it was Curbs who didn't play them.  :undecided: :undecided:

Honestly, I taught English Language for 7 months and I honestly do not have the words to truly scale these events. It's like trying to imagine the universe.

BBC Sport understands that Pardew was in talks with Newcastle about taking over at St James' Park as long as 10 days ago.

It is believed Pardew became close friends with Newcastle owner Mike Ashley and director Derek Llambias when all three were familiar faces at an exclusive London casino where Llambias was managing director.

Anyone know the name of the casino?  I fancy a crack at managing the club too, my Football Manager CV is pretty decent.

So Hughton has been stabbed in the back for one of Ashley's mates. Super. :thdn: If Pardew gets this, he's s dead man walking even before he starts.

It was the 50 club, don't think it's in operation anymore but may be wrong. It's ran by London Clubs - they run Alea Casino in Nottingham 235 in Manchester, Golden Nugget etc.

I did a short placement there a few years back when I used to be a croupier.

Did you meet Ashley or Llambias? If so you're probably on the shortlist too.

Pretty sure it was Pardew who benched Mascherano/Tévez. I cursed the damn useless c*** every weekend since I got Tévez on my FF team.

Pretty sure it was too, think the guy on twitter is being a tit.

They both benched him and Curbishley started playing Tevez and Mascherano... eventually.
