Tooj
How come Disco Dekka is getting off lightly in all of this. Especially as under the Halls, Shepherd seemed to be the one getting all of the blame, even though he wasn't the owner, but more mouthpiece for the board who ended up doing a lot of their dirty work for them. So why is all of the vitriol directed towards Ashley, and not Llambias as well?
Minhosa
He's just there to make sure the pies are hot and the Carlings cold man Tooj. Ashley pulls the strings. Same as Sports Direct. Ashley is even quoted as saying he thought he was God when he floated his business and made his wedge.
Mr Logic
Because he's preceived of as being just an employee? Conversely Shepherd had the appearance of running the club on a day to day basis.
Thespence
Llambias uses this board his username is Cronky.

Wullie
Shepherd was still a major shareholder though (33%)?, not an employee.

So why is all of the vitriol directed towards Ashley, and not Llambias as well? I would imagine he does what he's told to do tbh, probably allowed an opinion, but not the key decision maker. Shepherd was also a fairly large stakeholder rather than just a mouthpiece mind.
Guest Heneage
Echoing what Wullie said. He could tell Ashley he saw Hughton drowning kittens in the Tyne but ultimately it's Ashley's decision.
Doctor Zaius
Llambias is powerless. Nothing more than a mouthpiece. But still a specky cunt that can rot in hell.

alexf
fat sam said not long ago when he was a quest pundit on one of our matches that it was derek llambias that ran the club not the owner and he sounded like he had abit of beef with him

But anyway, as others have said, he's nothing more than a mouthpiece IMO. The shots are called by Ashley.

AyeDubbleYoo
Don't think he's getting away with it really. Personally, I just think of Ashley and Llambias as two heads on one hideous club-destroying monster. Whoever is making the decisions, they are evil. Geordie Ahmed
Llambias is a cunt BUT level of cunt-ness pales in comparison to that of Ashley Ashley owns the club 100% so the final decision is his, whereas Shepherd still had a big stake in the club even if it wasnt the majority
Newcastle Fan
I hate the fact that this happend just like Keegan walking out, the media reports it ages before and we all laugh it off then it happens, what the fuck is wrong with this club. AyeDubbleYoo
To be fair, the damage to our club under Mort was a flesh wound compared to what has been dished out since he left.
