Tooj
It's painful watching everyone getting excited about Jol. He's not going to come here ffs. Aye. Have some faith man Faith? We may as well be sponsored by the fucking Samaritans!
Guest
If we had any normal chairman I'd get my hopes up but can't see this one like.
Thespence
The fella was going to jack in the Ajax job in the summer for Fulham ffs!!! So him wanting to come to NUFC would not surprise me in the slightest. Only dobut is Paul Kemsley was the one who forced the sacking of Jol at Spurs & he is one of Ashleys best mates. Dinho lad
It's painful watching everyone getting excited about Jol. He's not going to come here ffs. Was prepared to go to Fulham in the summer. Do you think someone like Jol would work for someone with Ashley's reputation? If he is convinced (or fooled) by Ashley's vision...... then probably yes. Thespence
The Sun going with this story. He has already turned down approaches from Birmingham and Fulham because he does not fancy battling relegation. But he is excited by the prospect of managing Newcastle and knows they can match his own ambitions Full story @ http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/article630738.ece

Flip
It'll be Jol. The most important thing is he getting your backing? Anyone who's appointed needs to get our backing if we want to succeed, Im just unsure whether we ever will with the mess at this club.

Dokko
If we get Jol, sacking Hughton was the right thing to do BTW.

Keefaz
Beckford Jol reminds me a little of a young Andy Cole Alex Ferguson in the way he plays manages actually.
