Andy Gray Sacked by Sky; Richard Keys resigns - join TalkSport

I never watch any of their analysis s*** anyway so I'm really not bothered. TV goes on just before ko, mutes at HT and goes off straight after FT.

Boring, tbh.

I didn't watch that much of the analysis either, bits and pieces.  The Last Word was the most infuriating thing on television - just show us a goal from start to finish man, you boring dickheads.

I still think Andy Gray was really likeable for a number of years though - mainly for his enthusiasm - but he started thinking he was more important than he was by a long shot.  Was interesting when he turned down the Everton job.  It would have been nice if this business had just brought him down a peg or 2 and he became a bit more humble and bearable, but maybe he was long gone anyway.

Presenters like Richard Keys are ten-a-penny though imo, no great loss there, who cares.

Agree with that, I've really turned against Gray in the last few years. Came across like he genuinely believed he was pally with the players and could influence the game in this country. You're just a pundit mate.

Yep, stopped watching the crap ages ago.  Would find other things to do until kick off and at half time.  You must be a complete mong if you need 4 wankers banging on about every incident in a game or over every goal. Stoping and starting the footage every few seconds.  Fuck off man.

Keys was a gorilla, nothing about him other than really hairy.  Andy Gray did my head in with all his "take a bow son" crap.

Cant stand of the Sky's "personalities".  Jamie Redknapp.  Souness.

I like the BBC's best.  Hanson is funny.  Lawreson is comical cos he always looks like a warmed up turd.  Shearer wears fancy gear,

I love Ian Darke, me.  Would pay big, big money for him to follow me about commentating my life for a day.

:dowie:

 I would.

You would like a man to stalk you ?

I'm not making this any better for myself but if I get a commemorative DVD of the day then yeah, as long as he describes what I'm doing all day in his commentator voice.

Henry Winter

I understand all the tweets supporting Jamie Redknapp to succeed Andy Gray. imho best man left on Sky's books is Graeme Souness. Top analyst

Oh right, after the rape thing?

Could just imagine it, Monday Night Rapeball.

Not any more he aint.  No tears here.

Never been one to listen to the BS before and especially after games, i've just watched it.

Why does Henry Winter think anyone cares who 'gets his vote'?  Another one with his own sense of importance who talks as if fans are the plebs.

Have Sky removed all adverts featuring Keys and Gray's voice/persona too? Can imagine that'll be a pain for them to redub/re-record.

Always thought Winter was a decent enough journo personally.

He's unbearably pompous and thinks his word on football is gospel.

He has two or three managerial favourites (Hodgson, O'Neill amongst them) who he waxes lyrical about to pathetic levels.

I vomited up my spleen when i read this bullshit:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/blackpool/8275992/Henry-Winter-unlikely-lads-Holloway-Martin-ONeill-and-Owen-Coyle-earn-all-managerial-plaudits.html

and there are plenty of other examples.
