Ronaldo
We signed a paintbrush and just lost a painter. Other way around.

Guest firetotheworks
#10 surely? Routledge is still an NUFC player, so probably not.
AyeDubbleYoo
#10 surely? Routledge is still an NUFC player, so probably not. You must be able to change the number of a player who is out on loan? Not that it matters or I care.
Guest Stephen927
We signed a paintbrush and just lost a painter. Other way around. The mix-up was to symbolise the mess of a transfer deadline day.
AyeDubbleYoo
I always thought of Ireland as more of a scorer than a provider.
Guest firetotheworks
I always thought of Ireland as more of a scorer than a provider. I think we'll have to all start thinking that way, if we're to have any hope.
brummie
I always thought of Ireland as more of a scorer than a provider. He played up front for us this season a few times. Honestly, don't ask, it's better that way.
Guest MrSundlofer
#10 surely? Routledge is still an NUFC player, so probably not. Routledge is not registered for us = no number at this club = number 10 is free.

LucaAltieri
So we're officially playing 4-6-0 then?
oldtype
He's going to tidy us up till the end of the season, but surely if he comes anywhere near fulfilling his potential Villa will just want him back?
Guest firetotheworks
He hasn't had the best of luck like. Shunned at City after being excellent for them, moved to Villa whose manager then left, moved to Newcastle, who on the same day sold their most prized asset. jdckelly
well hope he gets his head on straight and goes out with a point to prove and demonstrates this on the pitch, if he does its one hell of a signing
toontownman
So is he injured then? or might he figure on the bench on Weds?
jdckelly
thats a good question tbh
Dave
I hope he's not as dismal as he's been at Villa. That's pretty much all I can muster at the moment.

Shunned at City after being excellent for them, moved to Villa whose manager then left, moved to Newcastle, who on the same day sold their most prized asset. He moved to us after O'Neill left. There's no getting away from the fact that he joined in pretty unusual circumstances, and he hasn't turned into some talentless chugger, but there is definitely something wrong upstairs with Ireland. Maybe a change of scenery will help, but I can't help but think that it was the change of scenery away from Manchester City that triggered his problems to go into overdrive. Ginola
With Carroll gone that leaves a role as support striker free for Ireland surely. I think he could make a very positive impact there, especially when HBA gets back, both clever players that I feel could link up well to create chances. Mr Logic
I keep thinking 4-3-2-1.. Ben Arfa and Ireland behind a mobile striker.
