So, now Carroll has exited tonight, Ashley rounds up the sale with a bit of loose change and agrees a £40m 'transfer warchest' - the stipulations being that you're only allowed one 'marquee signing' (should you wish) and a wage-limit of another £150k pw. Wouldn't buy a striker currently in England, but would look to Europe and there's too little time left for that. Wouldn't want to waste the money on the likes of Carlton Cole, which we probably will.
