Yorkie
It's the fact that Aston Villa, who I see as a current rival, have adequately improved (if not bettered) on losing Downing/Young. He's a great player and he'll be great for them, which is bad news for us. More than just 'meh we don't need him' tbh. Exactly. Infuriating. Absolutely brilliant business by Villa. Stifler
On the plus side Wigan now have fuck all in their squad who looks like they could keep them up. Rodegella and Moses maybe decent but they have no one providing them any service, surely their time is up.
Ryan_Taylor
This might finally be the year Wigan fuck off and die?

Guest Haris Vuckic
This might finally be the year Wigan f*** off and die? Wigan in the top flight is still a joke like. As much as I hate the bastards give me a Sheffield club back any day, a Leeds, even bloody Oldham gave more to the premier league!
JH
What are the chances people are vastly overrating N'Zogbia on the back of us not landing him (or maybe ever being in for him)? More like people saying he's worse than crap - the same people who'd be over the moon if he was here
Carlito
Sad to see him go there rather than here, but could be worse. At least the filth aren't better off for it.
AlanSkÃrare
Waste. Was there for the taking. Another sign.
Geordie Ahmed
Gutted we didn't go for him, could have improved us a lot. No doubt he will be immense for Villa BUT at least he did not join the Mackems, that would have stung
Guest TheSummerOf69
I always dont believe in going back... I'm glad Peter Beardsley doesn't believe in not going back
Gallowgate Toon
It's an interesting one, he'll be given a different role at Villa, to provide for Bent. I think he's more of a scorer nowadays. We'll see if he makes the step up at a bigger club with better players and with less freedom.
Cajun
Would have loved, LOVED him here. Do think where he would have fitted though. Who would he pushed out of the team? Ben Arfa? Barton? Jonas? Marveaux? For me it's probably the latter two, it won't happen so a bit of a pointless comment but IF we did sign a quality defender then it would make up a little for us not even attempting to get N'Zogbia as I think we are lighter in defence than we are midfield. Tooj
It's got very little to do with the fact we got him. It's the fact that Aston Villa, who I see as a current rival, have adequately improved (if not bettered) on losing Downing/Young. He's a great player and he'll be great for them, which is bad news for us. More than just 'meh we don't need him' tbh. Messi is the definition of a "great" player. henke
This might finally be the year Wigan fuck off and die? I reckon Zoggy's exit was the final nail in our coffin, and i fully expect it to be the end of Wigan.
Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
Of course Wigan will stay up, they always fucking do.
David28
Not this season. No chance imo unless they go out and buy at least 4 quality players.

ponsaelius
N'Zogbia - 2: Made my eyes bleed today, his touch, pace, vision, decision making... He looked like a league 1 player at best.
captainhaircut
Horribly misused by Villa. Playing in a 4-4-2 wastes him as he's proven he's far more effective higher up the pitch. Amazed that they played Bannan on the right against Taylor. It's like McLeish didn't watch the QPR game.
