BONTEMPI
No chance of Hulk, whatsoever. Well no harm in trying I'd go for Sturridge if it failed, that's if Chelsea let him go.
Mistle17
Unless Odemwingie is on loan, I'd highly doubt we'll sign him. But he'd be a handy player for sure.

LoveItIfWeBeatU
Larsson - He won't cost a transfer free, he scores the occasional goal, he is 25 (26 in June), he can take a decent set piece and he's another option for the right hand side of midfield. He almost signed for us in the Winter transfer window until Birmingham pulled the plug so he's obviously willing to come to NUFC. A decent player who will add quality to our thin squad. Flip
Definitely Seb Larsson (need someone who can take a variety of types of set pieces). I'd also look at Elmander if we are going to play 4-4-2. Elmander with another forward isn't bad. However, Elmander as top striker purchase and I'll rip someones balls off. According to Swedish bookies we're favorites behind Bolton to where Elmander will sign his next contract.
LoveItIfWeBeatU
Stoke were in the process of signing Ba but he failed the medical due to a problem with his knees. West Ham gambled on him. I can't see NUFC gambling on Ba if West Ham get relegated.

LoveItIfWeBeatU
ben arfa can take set pieces It doesn't hurt to have more than one option. Some people have said not to bother going for Larsson as Barton plays on the right. Well we need quality options and competition. I don't know how good Ben Arfa is at set pieces but we have no one else in the squad who can regularly hit the target with a free kick for example. Flip
Really not sure about Elmander i have to say. For free, and as 2nd striker. He will works his socks off and give 110% every time. Question is if he'd be happy to come here to be 2nd striker as he is at Bolton. Might as well stay there.
Guest
Aye, someone like Elmander as long as there's another, better striker along with him would be fine in my eyes.

If Shane Long and Elmander were our two forward signings I would be epically disappointed.
Guest
Aye same but if one of them came with someone a class or two above them then it's not too bad.

There's not many pairings in the league that's got that many this season tbh. In fact Elmander's probably in one of a very few who have.
