Rated really highly in France. Only French and German clubs interested as of a couple of days ago. James Eastham (scout): playmaker: tremendous technique, quick feet + brain, mobile, smart passing, clever movement - "little Xavi" Marvin Martin makes France squad. Fully deserved. What about Raphael Varane? 18 year old CB, already played 20 times for Lens and even captained them. Been linked with a few English clubs (Man U in particular). Chances are them being relelgated makes him destinened to move, with us signing Abeid from the same club I'd imagine we're very much aware of him.
