Good luck! Think he could have picked a better club but maybe other clubs don;t rate him. Did a good job first half of season, and do think we definately need a new striker (even if not necessarily a £10m one) now he's gone.

They get Best, we get Hoilett and end up making money!*

* Depending on compensation costs.

Could actually be an arrangement, like an out of court settlement on Hoilett, as part of the deal. Maybe why they got him for probably £1 Million less than what he's worth.

Apparently he's gonna be on around 35k a week for them...

:idiot2:

Just from twitter mind so don't take it as gospel.

the thing is I could believe it, Danny Murphys hardly gone there for the joy of working with Steve Kean

16/1 for Blackburn is a cracking price. Building a canny squad. Then again their club is ran by idiots and the Manager isn't much better.

sounds like us when we went down (though we had a much better squad)

Really appreciate his efforts for Newcastle, sort of proved us wrong when we got promoted and started scoring in the games he played. Will always remember that spell he had last year in January and managed to grab himself a hat trick against West Ham. Good player and seems a good enough lad, wish him all the best for the future. If he leave that is

He scored nearly twice as many for us since Jan 2011 than Carroll has for Liverpool.

I'll never forget what he inspired :jones: to do in the 3-0.

Like Guthrie, he'll need replacing, and good luck to both of them. If he's up for it, he could score a lot of goals in the Championship.
