Was during his twilight season when he played RB but remember him putting in one of the best crosses I've ever seen for a Sibierski diving header against Reading at home. Loved Nobby, proper player.

Don’t really get many widemen in his mould these days. No one springs to mind anyway.

In terms of one touch to settle, immediate whipped cross then Ritchie isn’t a million miles off. Totally different aside from that though.

Was going to say James Ward-Prowse given his versatility, set piece ability and that he was successfully used as a RB/RWB this season. However, Nobby was more technical than him and better in forward positions. Therefore I'll go with somewhere between Ward-Prowse and Arda Turan.

What a footballer Nobby was :smitten:

That midfield 4 and front 2 Sir Bobby built was breathtaking to watch at times.

The signings of Robert and Bellamy gave our attacking play a devastating mix with the delivery of Solano and Shearer up front.

OK, so what do you choose:

Robert-Speed-Dyer-Solano and Bellamy-Shearer

OR

Ginola-Batty-Lee-Beardsley/Gillespie and Ferdinand-Shearer

?

If I could pick a mix

              Shearer

            Beardsley

Robert                    Solano

            Speed  Lee

That's what I'd go with too, except I'd swap Batty for Speed.
